Exciting news to share! For the third year in a row, The Somerset on Grace Bay has been named a Family Vacation Critic Favorite Hotel! Family Vacation Critic is TripAdvisor’s family travel site and features family-tested, family-approved hotels from around the world. The 2016 Family Vacation Critic Favorite award comes from both the editors and family reviewers. To qualify for the award, hotels must have been recommended by at least 75% of families. In addition, they must have received a rating of 4+ from both the editorial staff and families. Kids’ Movie Night, Bingo, Tie-Dye, Arts & Crafts. If you’ve attended any of our interactive Caicos Kids Club activities, you’re sure to have met our Activities Coordinator, Kaye-Ann Irving. She plans and implements our Caicos’ Kids Club activities, while building strong personal connections with many families. Affectionately called “Aunty Kaye,” she truly ensures that everyone — the youngsters and the young at heart — have an enjoyable vacation. “Kaye-Ann spent a morning with our four-year-old making an adorable sand craft, followed by an evening making s’mores. In 2016, we are celebrating The Somerset on Grace Bay‘s 10th anniversary and asking past guests to share their most treasured time. Each month, we will be giving away a free 3-night stay for 2. Congratulations to The Carey Family who are our May winners of the Treasured Times Contest. Their story We welcomed this wonderful family of six to The Somerset in August 2015 after the youngest of the Carey daughters, Grace and Taylor, “discovered” TCI had a Grace Bay and a Taylor Bay. Fitness Classes at The Somerset

After a day of rest and relaxation on Grace Bay Beach, recharge with a workout led by our experienced fitness instructors. Admire the scenic views from the sea, pool deck or estate lawn as you ease your mind, soothe your soul and energize your body. Paddleboard Fitness Our new Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Fitness offering adds a tropical, and challenging, twist to traditional yoga. Led by Kim Mortimer and Marilyn Markus, this class provides a fun and invigorating session. Because you have to increase your core engagement on an unstable platform, SUP Fitness offers a better workout than traditional yoga and also helps refine your technique. Reserve your board today! Beginning June 2016, SUP Yoga will occur Saturday at 10:30 a.m. (seasonally), and classes are capped at six people. The Somerset’s Beach Party BBQ is the place to be on Tuesday nights in Turks & Caicos! From the tropical cocktails, Caribbean cuisine or lively entertainment, this evening offers many opportunities to create treasured times with loved ones.
