Sandy Summer Fun at The Somerset on Grace Bay

There are many reasons why Grace Bay is one of the world’s top 10 beaches. A top reason why our younger guests love Grace Bay is that the soft white sand is perfect for sand castle building!

The Somerset on Grace Bay is challenging guests of all ages to participate in our Family Sand Castle Competition on Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Starting water side at 11 a.m., amateur architects and their families are invited to create and construct their fantasy palaces out of the powdery white sand.  The competition will be judged based upon criteria such as originality, size, sturdiness and beauty. Creators of the winning edifices will be awarded prizes courtesy of The Somerset on Grace Bay.

So get ready to dig your toes, and hands, into the sand!
