Water activities

  • Scuba diving – Ideal for beginners, the waters of Grace Bay are warm, shallow and tranquil.

Land activities

  • Golfing – Tee off in paradise at the world-class, 18-hole championship course at Provo Golf Club.
  • Rent a scooter – Explore the island on two wheels with Paradise Scooters
  • Biking – Pedal around Grace Bay with one of our complimentary bicycles.
  • Eat conch – Dine on this local seafood delicacy fresh from the ocean at one of Providenciales’ famous beach shacks.
  • Island Fish Fry – A short walk from The Somerset, this popular weekly event — a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner — features local dishes, rum punch and dancing to the rhythms of a steel band.
  • Adopt a potcake – Volunteer to spend a day at the beach with a potcake, the islands’ sweet, loving and loyal stray dogs, or adopt one to bring home.
  • Casinos and gaming – Located 5 minutes from The Somerset, the Casablanca Casino is open late, 7 days per week. Casino gambling is legal in Turks and Caicos to anyone 18 years of age and older.
  • Shopping – Shop for souvenirs at the many shops and galleries at nearby Salt Mills on Grace Bay.
  • Horseback riding – Saddle up for a memorable outing of horseback riding on the beach and shallow turquoise waters.
