Amazing hotel for families. Rooms are big, beautifully decorated and new. Great kitchen with viking appliances. Friendly and competent staff. Tuesday beach barbecue is also great. The staff at the front desk can help you with everything on the island.
"Beautiful resort on an amazing beach"
My wife and I spent 4 nights here for a friends wedding. They couldn't have picked a more beautiful spot! The resort has beautifully maintained gardens. The pool is broken into three separate tiers with the one closest to the beach being a walk-in infinity pool. The staff was nice and generally helpful. But the beach..... UNBELIEVABLE!!!! We had a nice beach lounger, towels, table and umbrella each day. Cold waters were readily available and the beach staff was great! The sand and water is to die for. The water reflects a turquoise glow onto the underside of the clouds above.
My first time going to Turks and Caicos. I researched for months. I went with the Somerset because friends of mine had stayed there last year. The hotel exceeds expectations. The views are exactly what is depicted on the website. The service at the hotel was impeccable. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We were greeted with rum punch at check in. it was very good! The rooms are outstanding. To my understanding each unit is privately owned, they are huge and very clean, very spacious and decorated beautifully.
"Spring vacation for relaxation and sun"
We travelled to this amazing resort for a week and were not disappointed - the hospitality from the moment we arrived was warm and helpful. We even were upgraded to an ocean view when it was available and the suites are spectacular - all huge with a space that feels like a vacation condo. Massive balconies for outdoor dining and comfort, and an incredible pool area that leads down to the most spectacular beach!
"10 people from OR, VA and CO"
The best resort at Turks. Fabulous kids events: Easter egg hunt and other activities and the Tuesday night cookout with the Fireman and kids dancing. Wow Absolute best rooms! Great staff. Even the poolside bar had good lunches The restaurant is a bit fancy for kids but worked ok.
"BEST RESORT FOR SWIMMERS"
Been coming to Provo for over 35 years since the time that luxury meant a working shower and infrequent electrical black outs. As a swimmer & scuba enthusiast the unsurpassed Grace Bay beach & beyond beautiful ocean waters grabbed my heart and soul back then & kept me coming back.
"Great family resort with awesome staff!!"
The Somerset is fantastic!! It's great for families with perfect accommodations for adults and kids. The staff is amazing here -- super friendly. They go out of their way to help you and make sure you are having a nice time. The rooms are great with lots of room to spread out!
"Totally Relaxing Week"
We absolutely loved the Somerset! The pool, our room/apartment, the staff, the location, the weather :-) We'll definitely be returning next year, we all really enjoyed it and thoroughly relaxed for a week. We had a room on the courtyard/croquet lawn as opposed to the water, which turned out to be perfect for us - our 4 and 6 year olds could just run out there on their own, and it was also where "movie night" took place for the kids.
"Loved the Somerset"
We came to the Somerset for a family vacation and loved it. Our accommodations were great and the beach and infinity pool were lovely. Thank you Somerset for providing us with some much needed rest and relaxation. Thank you Ricco for throwing the football on the beach with us and teaching us how to do handstands! Thank you Winston and staff for your attentive service. A wonderful trip...can't wait to go back.
"Relaxing and Wonderful"
The two of us stayed here last year and liked it so much we came with our family this year. The unit we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool area is nice and the beach and bay right out front is really lovely. We never had trouble finding chairs and umbrellas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Riko at the pool and beach was incredible with our grandchildren. We like the smaller size of the Somerset.
