Caribbean Food and Wine Festival: November 1-3

This November, Providenciales will offer up the best in Turks and Caicos food culture when our island hosts the Caribbean Food and Wine Festival. Pair it with one of Turks and Caicos deals this Fall, and you have the makings of a perfect trip! This three-day celebration of food and wine will be held from November 1 to November 3, and will feature global culinary personalities such as Chef John DeLucie, Chef and Owner of The Lion and Crown in New York City. Chef DeLucie will provide a cooking demonstration and a book signing. Chef DeLucie will collaborate with Chef Beau MacMillan, who is returning for his second year to attend this popular Turks and Caicos festival. The Turks and Caicos Islands lie southeast of the Bahamas, about 575 miles south of Miami and the USA mainland. While the islands are famous for their white sand beaches and Caribbean luxury resorts, TCI is also a prime (and some would say, undiscovered) snorkelling destination. The island of Providenciales, in Turks and Caicos, is surrounded by many reefs easily accessible right from the beach. Here are just a few of the coral reefs that are near the Somerset: Turks and Caicos Barrier Reef A barrier reef protects the north, Leeward coast of Providenciales. The deep blue ocean on the north side of the reef is over a thousand feet deep,and features an incredible wall suitable for exploration by experienced scuba divers.
