Fishing in the Turks and Caicos provides a bit of everything, from learning more about the wonderful natural world that surrounds Provo, to a great chance to get out on the water and off the beaten track.
We work with a select few fishing guides, so to get you started on your fishing adventure, here’s some information about some of them:
Silver Deep offers every type of fishing at professional level: Sportfishing, Reef-fishing, Bonefishing, Fly-fishing, Shark-fishing, Night fishing, Light Tackle Trolling.
Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands offers some of the best bonefishing in the world all year around and is considered a Mecca for this type of fishing.
Our waters are unfished compared to other destinations and
the easily spooky bonefish is not scared by other boats. Contact the Somerset’s Concierge for more information.
By far the easiest way to catch a fish is bottom fishing. The Captain chooses a great location drops anchor and helps you and your parties learn the finer points of baiting a hook and reeling in your catch. Fish are cleaned and wrapped upon return to the dock for you and can be taken to your favorite restaurant or hotel for cooking. This tour is recommended for first time fishers and children, but anybody will have fun and is almost a given you’ll catch something! $10 US fishing license fee per person extra
“Blue Whale Tours & Excursions” offer numerous fishing tours to choose from,as well as TCI’s only Waterslide Catamaran. Contact the Somerset’s Concierge for more information.
