At The Somerset, we offer complimentary bike rentals for our guests. Use the bikes during the day to explore Grace Bay or to simply stay active. Our concierge shares the top 3 places to visit by bike during your stay at The Somerset!
1. Graceway Gourmet Grocery Store
While we offer pre-arrival grocery shopping, if you need to make a trip to the grocery store during your stay, this upscale market offers an alternative for fine, natural and organic foods. You’ll find delicious ready-to-go meals, fine wines and a Java Bar, making it a fun destination for a mid-morning meal or afternoon snack. (Located approx 1.1 miles from The Somerset)

“My family of 6 loved every aspect of the resort, and we biked to the nearby shops with the kids on the rare occasions that we could pull them off the beach!” – Anil Malladi, past guest
2. Potcake Place
Located in the Salt Mills Plaza, Potcake Place is home to animals in need of adoption and socialization. Homeless potcakes are found throughout Turks & Caicos, and both tourists and locals bring them to this non-profit organization. Here, Potcake Place volunteers house the puppies until they are fostered or adopted.
After making a small donation, guests can “borrow” a puppy for 2-3 hours, giving the animal the companionship and care it deserves! While pets aren’t allowed at our resort, many guests enjoy playing with their new furry friends on the beach! (Located approx .7 miles from The Somerset)
“Riding bikes to town and walking dogs was the best time I’ve had ever had with my daughter — like a girls vacation!” – Tricia Johnson, past guest

3. Grace Bay Shopping Area
The most popular shopping area is also located in the Salt Mills Plaza. With jewelry stores, art galleries, clothing boutiques, dining, souvenir shops and ATMs, this area offers it all! (Located approx .7 miles from The Somerset)
“The resort is perfect for families. Winston was a favorite for the kids and even helped the boys get acclimated to the bicycles!” – Kila Bagaria, past guest
