Rates are per suite per night and include continental breakfast. Rates exclude 11% government tax and 10% service charge. Minimum stay of seven nights is required during the holiday peak season. Rates based on double occupancy per bedroom. Additional charge for extra persons. Square footage is approximate.

Children

Two children 12 or under are free in all suites with parents.

Extra Guest

One additional guest is allowed in 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Suites, Villas and Penthouse categories for an additional charge as follows:

• Jan 02 to Apr 09 and Dec 18 to Jan 01: $100 per person
• All other dates: $50 per person

Maximum Occupancy

Standard Rooms - two persons in queen bed (no cribs/rollaway beds).
One Bedroom Suites - two persons plus one child under 12 years old.
Two Bedroom Suites - four persons plus two children under 12 years old.
Three Bedroom Suites - six persons plus two children under 12 years old.
Five Bedroom Villas - ten persons plus two children under 12 years old.

Deposit/Cancellation/Change/Early Departure Policies

A 3 night deposit is required at the time of booking except holiday time periods (see below). Guests must cancel or change outside of 21 days from arrival to avoid forfeiting the 3 night deposit. Early departures are a 3-night penalty or the balance of the stay, whichever is shorter.

For the Holiday time period of Dec 18 to Jan 2, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with an additional 25% due on July 1 and the balance due Nov 1. Any changes or cancellations after Nov 1 is a full forfeit. Early departures will be a full forfeit of any unused nights.

Hurricane Policy

(Valid through November 30, 2009)

In the event of an official evacuation order, The Somerset on Grace Bay will not penalize any guest for any unused nights and will also present a voucher valid for a future stay for the same number of nights that the original reservation was for (with a maximum of 7 nights), i.e. you book a 7 night stay and evacuate on day 4. You will not have to pay for the additional nights of your stay and you will be presented with a voucher for a 7 night future stay.

In the event of an official hurricane warning issued for the islands of Turks and Caicos, The Somerset on Grace Bay will waive the cancellation penalty and either refund the full deposit, or change the reservation to a future date.

New Travel Requirements for U.S. Citizens

United States citizens will now be permitted to enter the Turks and Caicos Islands once they are able to show either a valid passport OR a U.S. Government-issued photo ID and an online receipt indicating that their passport application has been filed.
